ਪਉੜੀ ॥

ਕਾਇਆ ਹੰਸ ਧੁਰਿ ਮੇਲੁ ਕਰਤੈ ਲਿਖਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
kaiaa ha(n)s dhur mel karatai likh paiaa ||
ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਗੁਪਤੁ ਵਰਤਦਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ॥
sabh meh gupat varatadhaa gurmukh pragaTaiaa ||
ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਰੈ ਗੁਣ ਮਾਹਿ ਸਮਾਇਆ ॥
gun gaavai gun ucharai gun maeh samaiaa ||
ਸਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਹੈ ਸਚੁ ਮੇਲਿ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ॥
sachee baanee sach hai sach mel milaiaa ||
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਦੇਇ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥੧੪॥
sabh kichh aape aap hai aape dhei vaddiaaiee ||14||
English Translation
Pauree:
The union of the body and the soul-swan was pre-ordained by the Creator Lord.
He is hidden, and yet pervading all. He is revealed to the Gurmukh.
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and chanting His Praises, one merges in His Glories.
True is the True Word of the Guru's Bani. One unites in Union with the True Lord.
He Himself is everything; He Himself grants glorious greatness. ||14||
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ (Punjabi Explanation)
ਪਉੜੀ।
ਸਰੀਰ ਤੇ ਜੀਵਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਧੁਰੋਂ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ।
ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
(ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਣ ਆ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਗੁਣ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ।
(ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ) ਸੱਚੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੱਚੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ (ਰੱਖ ਕੇ) ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ।
ਹਰੇਕ ਹਸਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈ ।੧੪।
