ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ (Gurmukhi)
ਸੂਹੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਘਰੁ ੩ ॥
soohee mahalaa panjavaa ghar teejaa ||
ਗੋਬਿੰਦਾ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਉ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
gobi(n)dhaa gun gaau dhiaalaa ||
ਦਰਸਨੁ ਦੇਹੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
dharasan dheh pooran kirapaalaa || rahaau ||
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੁਮ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
kar kirapaa tum hee pratipaalaa ||
ਜੀਉ ਪਿੰਡੁ ਸਭੁ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਮਾਲਾ ॥੧॥
jeeau pi(n)dd sabh tumaraa maalaa ||1||
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਚਲੈ ਜਪਿ ਨਾਲਾ ॥
a(n)mirat naam chalai jap naalaa ||
ਨਾਨਕੁ ਜਾਚੈ ਸੰਤ ਰਵਾਲਾ ॥੨॥੩੨॥੩੮॥
naanak jaachai sa(n)t ravaalaa ||2||32||38||
English Translation
Soohee, Fifth Mehla: Third House:
I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord of the Universe, the Merciful Lord.
Please, bless me with the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, O Perfect, Compassionate Lord. ||Pause||
Please, grant Your Grace, and cherish me.
My soul and body are all Your property. ||1||
Only meditation on the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord, will go along with you.
Nanak begs for the dust of the Saints. ||2||32||38||
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ (Punjabi Explanation)
ਸੂਹੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ।
ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਹੇ ਦਇਆਲ! ਹੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ!
(ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ) ਦਰਸਨ ਦੇਹ, ਮੈਂ (ਸਦਾ ਤੇਰੇ) ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ।ਰਹਾਉ।
ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਅਸਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ) ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ
ਇਹ ਜਿੰਦ ਇਹ ਸਰੀਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਸਿ-ਪੂੰਜੀ ਹੈ ।੧।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ (ਸਦਾ) ਜਪਿਆ ਕਰ (ਇਹੀ ਇਥੋਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ) ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ
ਨਾਨਕ (ਭੀ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ । (ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ) ।੨।੩੨।੩੮।
