ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ॥
dhanaasaree mahalaa chauthhaa ||
ਸੇਵਕ ਸਿਖ ਪੂਜਣ ਸਭਿ ਆਵਹਿ ਸਭਿ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਊਤਮ ਬਾਨੀ ॥
sevak sikh poojan sabh aaveh sabh gaaveh har har uootam baanee ||
ਗਾਵਿਆ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਹਰਿ ਥਾਇ ਪਾਵੈ ਜਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਸਤਿ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨੀ ॥੧॥
gaaviaa suniaa tin kaa har thai paavai jin satigur kee aagiaa sat sat kar maanee ||1||
ਬੋਲਹੁ ਭਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਵਜਲ ਤੀਰਥਿ ॥
bolahu bhaiee har keerat har bhavajal teerath ||
ਹਰਿ ਦਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਊਤਮ ਬਾਤ ਹੈ ਸੰਤਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਜਿਨ ਜਨਹੁ ਜਾਨੀ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
har dhar tin kee uootam baat hai sa(n)tahu har kathaa jin janahu jaanee || rahaau ||
ਆਪੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਚੇਲਾ ਹੈ ਆਪੇ ਆਪੇ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਚੋਜ ਵਿਡਾਨੀ ॥
aape gur chelaa hai aape aape har prabh choj viddaanee ||
ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਪਿ ਮਿਲਾਏ ਸੋਈ ਹਰਿ ਮਿਲਸੀ ਅਵਰ ਸਭ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਓਹਾ ਹਰਿ ਭਾਨੀ ॥੨॥੫॥੧੧॥
jan naanak aap milaae soiee har milasee avar sabh tiaag ohaa har bhaanee ||2||5||11||
English Translation
Dhanaasaree, Fourth Mehla:
All the Sikhs and servants come to worship and adore You; they sing the sublime Bani of the Lord, Har, Har.
Their singing and listening is approved by the Lord; they accept the Order of the True Guru as True, totally True. ||1||
Chant the Lord's Praises, O Siblings of Destiny; the Lord is the sacred shrine of pilgrimage in the terrifying world-ocean.
They alone are praised in the Court of the Lord, O Saints, who know and understand the Lord's sermon. ||Pause||
He Himself is the Guru, and He Himself is the disciple; the Lord God Himself plays His wondrous games.
O servant Nanak, he alone merges with the Lord, whom the Lord Himself merges; all the others are forsaken, but the Lord loves him. ||2||5||11||
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ (Punjabi Explanation)
ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਪਾਤਿਸ਼ਾਹੀ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੇਵਕ (ਅਖਵਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸਿੱਖ (ਅਖਵਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਸਾਰੇ (ਗੁਰੂ-ਦਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ) ਪੂਜਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ, ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਗਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ
ਪਰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਾਣੀ ਗਾਉਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਸਹੀ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਉਤੇ ਅਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ (ਗੁਰੂ-) ਤੀਰਥ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ ।
ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਈ ਹੈ ।ਰਹਾਉ
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਅਚਰਜ ਤਮਾਸ਼ੇ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ
ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਆਪ ਮਿਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰਾ (ਆਸਰਾ-ਪਰਨਾ) ਛੱਡ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਹੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ ।੨।੫।੧੧।
