ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥
raamakalee mahalaa panjavaa ||
ਭੇਟਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਆ ॥
bheTat sa(n)g paarabraham chit aaiaa ||
ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਰਤ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਮਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
sa(n)gat karat sa(n)tokh man paiaa ||
ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਨ ਮਾਥਾ ਮੇਰੋ ਪਉਤ ॥
sa(n)teh charan maathaa mero paut ||
ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਸੰਤਹ ਡੰਡਉਤ ॥੧॥
anik baar sa(n)teh dda(n)ddaut ||1||
ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
eih man sa(n)tan kai balihaaree ||
ਜਾ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਖੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਣ ਧੋਇ ਧੋਇ ਪੀਵਾ ॥

ਸੰਤਹ ਦਰਸੁ ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਜੀਵਾ ॥
sa(n)teh dharas pekh pekh jeevaa ||
ਸੰਤਹ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਸ ॥
sa(n)teh kee merai man aas ||
ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਰਾਸਿ ॥੨॥

ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਪੜਦਾ ॥
sa(n)t hamaaraa raakhiaa paRadhaa ||
ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਕੜਦਾ ॥
sa(n)t prasaadh moh kabahoo na kaRadhaa ||
ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗੁ ਦੀਆ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥
sa(n)teh sa(n)g dheeaa kirapaal ||
ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੩॥

ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥

ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਗੁਣਤਾਸੁ ॥
gahir ga(n)bheer apaar gunataas ||
ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
jeea ja(n)t sagale pratipaal ||
ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਹ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੨੧॥

English Translation
RAAMKALEE, FIFTH MEHL:
Meeting with the Sangat, the Congregation, the Supreme Lord God has come into my consciousness. In the Sangat, my mind has found contentment. I touch my forehead to the feet of the Saints. Countless times, I humbly bow to the Saints. || 1 ||
This mind is a sacrifice to the Saints; holding tight to their support, I have found peace, and in their mercy, they have protected me. || 1 || Pause ||
I wash the feet of the Saints, and drink in that water. Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Saints’ Darshan, I live. My mind rests its hopes in the Saints. The Saints are my immaculate wealth. || 2 ||
The Saints have covered my faults. By the Grace of the Saints, I am no longer tormented. The Merciful Lord has blessed me with the Saints’ Congregation. The Compassionate Saints have become my help and support. || 3 ||
My consciousness, intellect and wisdom have been enlightened. The Lord is profound, unfathomable, infinite, the treasure of virtue. He cherishes all beings and creatures. Nanak is enraptured, seeing the Saints. || 4 || 10 || 21 ||
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ (Punjabi Explanation)
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਿਆਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਮੇਰੇ) ਚਿਤ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ । (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮੇਹਰ ਕਰੇ) ਮੇਰਾ ਮੱਥਾ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਿਆ ਰਹੇ, ਮੈਂ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵਾਰੀ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।੧।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਮੇਰਾ ਇਹ ਮਨ ਸੰਤ-ਜਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਆਨੰਦ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ । ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰ ਆਦਿਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।੧।ਰਹਾਉ।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ) ਮੈਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਧੋ ਧੋ ਕੇ ਪੀਂਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ । ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦਾ ਧਰਵਾਸ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਹੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ।੨।
ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੇ (ਵਿਕਾਰ ਆਦਿਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ) ਮੇਰੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਬਚਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਚਿੰਤਾ-ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਿਆਪਦਾ । ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਹੈ । ਜਦੋਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਮਦਦਗਾਰ ਬਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਇਆਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੩।
(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੀ) ਸੁਰਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਬੁੱਧਿ ਵਿਚ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ) ਚਾਨਣ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ । ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਅਥਾਹ, ਬੇਅੰਤ, ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਲੂੰ-ਲੂੰ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੪।੧੦।੨੧।
