ਜੈਤਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਵਾਰ ਸਲੋਕਾ ਨਾਲਿ
jaitasaree mahalaa panjavaa vaar salokaa naal
ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਆਦਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਮਧਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਅੰਤਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰਹ ॥
aadh pooran madh pooran a(n)t pooran paramesureh ||
ਸਿਮਰੰਤਿ ਸੰਤ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਰਮਣੰ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਘਨਾਸਨ ਜਗਦੀਸੁਰਹ ॥੧॥

ਪੇਖਨ ਸੁਨਨ ਸੁਨਾਵਨੋ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੀਐ ਸਾਚੁ ॥
pekhan sunan sunaavano man meh dhiraReeaai saach ||
ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸਰਬਤ੍ਰ ਮੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਚੁ ॥੨॥

English Translation
JAITSREE, FIFTH MEHL, VAAR WITH SHALOKS:
ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD. BY THE GRACE OF THE TRUE GURU: SHALOK:
In the beginning, He was pervading; in the middle, He is pervading; in the end, He will be pervading. He is the Transcendent Lord. The Saints remember in meditation the all-pervading Lord God. O Nanak, He is the Destroyer of sins, the Lord of the universe. || 1 ||
See, hear, speak and implant the True Lord within your mind. He is all-pervading, permeating everywhere; O Nanak, be absorbed in the Lord’s Love. || 2 ||
PAUREE: Sing the Praise of the One, the Immaculate Lord; He is contained within all. The Cause of causes, the Almighty Lord God; whatever He wills, comes to pass. In an instant, He establishes and disestablishes; without Him, there is no other. He pervades the continents, solar systems, nether worlds, islands and all worlds. He alone understands, whom the Lord Himself instructs; he alone is a pure and unstained being. || 1 ||
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ (Punjabi Explanation)
ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਉਸ ਸਰਬ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਭੀ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਖ਼ੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਭ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।੧।
ਉਸ ਸਦਾ ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸੁਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਥਾਈਂ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ।੨।
ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਾਇਆ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਹੈ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਕ ਪਲਕ ਵਿਚ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਸਭ ਦੇਸਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਸਾਰੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਵਿਚ, ਹੇਠਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ, ਜਜ਼ੀਰਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ, ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਮਝ ਆਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।੧।
